Joyetech eGo AIO Design & Features

The Joyetech eGo AIO starter is one of the smaller devices we’ve seen. In fact, it almost seems to disappear into the palm of your hand when you close your fingers. This probably is a great advantage for most smokers. I tend to prefer a slim design, but because it’s short, this pen is probably easier to store in a small purse or carrying case.

The Joyetech eGo comes in a variety of colors though it comes off as rather chunky and gaudy. In any case, the top is child proof, so when you’re filling it up, you have to push down on the mouthpiece before turning it. The process can be a bit irritating, but if you have kids, it could be a lifesaver.

The Joyetech’s claim to fame among other features is its all-in-one design. The battery and the tank are attached. This means that you can’t necessarily mix and match. On the other hand, if you’re new to vaping then, having a stick like this streamlines the whole process. When your battery is running low, an LED right near the glass tank will light up to notify you. You can also take advantage of these LEDs and set up your own personal light show.

Performance

Enabled with a 1500 mAh battery, the Joyetech eGo AIO will last all day and all night if you plan on going out. It’s extremely rare to find a vape pen of this size with a battery capacity that large. Typically vape pens come with a battery capacity of around 750mAh, 1000mAh if you’re lucky, but 1500? Not so much.

This mod comes with a 0.6Ω atomizer, so it can produce some large clouds. However, you won’t be able to vape direct-to-lungs. The Joyetech eGo is really ideal as a mouth-to-lungs vape for new vapers who want to quit smoking and want an experience similar to one offered by a cigarette. If you adjust the airflow, you might be able to get a reasonable hit, but it probably won’t qualify as a direct-to-lungs puff. It won’t be perfect, but for this kind of pen, that’s still fairly impressive.

The Tank

The tank on this baby holds an impressive 2ml, which should be about enough to get you through your day at work depending on your personal preferences. I will usually vape close to 3ml, but others are fine with 2ml. In any case, you might want to bring a bottle of e-juice with you in the morning just in case.

On a second note, the tank is made of glass. It is set back away from the edge, so it shouldn’t break, but we were a tad surprised that it wouldn’t have a more closed design.

This is really a nifty little device. The Joyetech eGo is small enough to fit in the palm of the hand comfortably, and it has an incredibly long battery life. The Joyetech eGo AIO is perfect for beginners who are just setting out and looking for that mouth-to-lungs draw as opposed to a direct-to-lungs vape. In any case, vapers of all levels of experience would benefit from a device based on its size alone.
