First Impression

Tesla, much like SMOK tech, was never known for its high-quality designs until recently, but now that they’ve started making improvements, they’re striding ahead. Their mods now are top-of-the-line devices and this Steampunk Vape is no exception. The metallic design design on the body is rather striking. There are gears of different sizes engraved into the metal. Otherwise, it has all of your standard features including temperature control, memory modes, and soft, medium, and hard settings. The mod runs on two 18650 batteries, and the mod feels heavy and solid in the head. Tesla has really come a long way, and we’ve honestly never seen a mod this sophisticated. Cool, yes. Modern, yes, but this takes mod designs to a new level. Read on to see what E-Cig Brands has to say about each of its features.

Tesla Nano 120W Starter Kit

The starter kit only comes with the mod and the user manual. However, because it is a mod, you’ll need to find or purchase two 18650 batteries and a tank to start vaping. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to start vaping right away unless you have extra supplies on hand, which you might if you’re purchasing a mod. The Tesla Nano 120W comes in copper, brass, black, or gray, and it’s constructed from die cast zinc alloy giving it a nice, shiny look.

Tesla Nano 120W Design & Features

The Tesla Nano 120W has an on-off switch so, even though the fire-button is nice and clicky, you don’t have to press it five times to turn on the device. The top has a 25mm width, so you can pop on a tank that has up to a 25mm diameter without having any overhang.

Performance

Of course it depends on what tank you use, but with a decent tank you can chuck some nice-sized clouds. With 120W, you’re not going to be cloud-chasing with the kind of clouds that taste almost like syrup. Some of the SMOK mods that vape at up to 200W or 300W give off vapor that almost doesn’t seem like it can remain in a gaseous state. Given that the majority of vapers never even pass 60-70W, 120W is more than sufficient. The slanted fire-button is right on the top corner of the mod, and you’re good to go. The double batteries allow you to vape for longer as well. You can tote this along with you to work or to do errands without having to worry about running out during your mid-afternoon slump when you really need it.

The Tank

This mod doesn’t come with a tank included in the starter kit, which is probably a good thing because you won’t have to pay extra for it, and chances are if you’re purchasing a mod, you already have a tank on hand. This is not a mod intended for beginners, so by the time you’re ready to purchase it, you’ve probably collected at least 2-3 tanks or RDA’s. Do make sure though that your tank is completely leak-free. Because of the engraved gear design along the mod’s body, any spills will cause a huge mess. No one ever likes leaks, but if your tank leaks on the Tesla Nano 120W, your e-liquid will leak into all the little nooks and crannies on the body.

Tesla Nano Display & Menu

To turn on the device, simply switch the lever from off to on. Once you reach the main screen, click three times to get to the menu. You can change the resistance from there or set the memory settings. By clicking on the battery, you can find out the firmware update, time, and date. You can change the wattage with the up and down buttons and enter your coil in the temperature control section. The screen is really bright and clear, and it even displays the percentage of battery left next to the battery icon.

Tesla Nano 120W Kit’s Price

On DirectVapor, you can find the Tesla Nano 120W for only about fifty bucks. We always recommend purchasing discount vaping products from DirectVapor because they have excellent customer service and warranties. Even though you can purchase it directly from the company, but since Tesla E-Cigs is based in China, it’s far more difficult to communicate with company representatives should anything be wrong with your order. Besides DirectVapor provides free shipping with no minimum orders. In any case, $50, is a bargain. This is within the typical price range for discount mods, but definitely on the lower end. Typically, mods from companies like Tesla and SMOK sell anywhere from $40-$90, so you will not be ripped off with the Tesla Nano 120W. At this price, you can even purchase some e-juice to go along with it.

Overall

We loved this mod. Our favorite thing about it would have to be the design. You won’t find a design like this on any other mods out there right now. It’s simply so cool! Otherwise, the device really is impressive. As we mentioned before, Tesla has come a long way since they first began releasing mods, and the Tesla Nano 120W really proves that. It’s certainly not a beginner mod, but if you’re looking for a stylish, inexpensive mod to bring with you on evenings out on the town, then you’ll love the Tesla Nano 120W. Order it from DirectVapor today!
