First Impression

When we here at E-Cig Brands first received our Eleaf iCare kit, we were stunned by how incredibly small it was. In fact, we couldn’t believe that it was even possible to have a mini version of it. After vaping it though, we were satisfied with the vapor and quite impressed by the overall design. This is the perfect device for a new vaper because it’s practically foolproof. All you have to do is vape it. There isn’t even any fire button let alone variable controls. We always talk about devices being compact and portable, but no devices even come close to comparing with the Eleaf iCare or iCare mini. These are barely larger than the size of a USB memory stick, and so they really don’t have any competition when it comes to convenience. If you’ve had your eye on either the Eleaf iCare Starter Kit or the Eleaf iCare Mini Starter Kit, then keep reading because we’re super excited to show you this brand new kit.

Eleaf iCare/Eleaf iCare Mini Starter Kit

The Eleaf iCare Starter Kit comes with the mod, two 1.1Ω coil heads, a USB cable, and a user manual. The Eleaf iCare Mini Starter Kit is practically the same except it comes with one coil instead of two and comes with a portable Eleaf PCC charging unit, which extends the battery up to 2300 mAh. We actually would have loved to see the PCC travel charger come with both kits because it’s so useful.

Eleaf iCare/Eleaf iCare Mini Design & Features

The Eleaf iCare and Eleaf iCare Mini are practically the same devices except the standard version is about twice the width of the mini. Otherwise, they look identical. The Eleaf iCare (Mini) has a white plastic cap where you put your mouth and a slit on the side where you can check your remaining level of e-liquid. This is an all-in-one device so both the battery and the tank are located inside. You can charge the battery with a micro-USB charging port (or the PCC charger for the mini), and you can remove the tank by pulling off the white plastic top and unscrewing the shaft.

Eleaf iCare Starter Kit Size

Performance

With a 15W maximum power output, the Eleaf iCare and Eleaf iCare Mini are not going to be chucking clouds right and left, but they do cloud up the room quite a bit given their size. At first glance, you may notice that the airflow is slightly off. This is because the airflow is, in fact, adjustable. When you unscrew the tank, you will be able to choose your airflow setting before putting it back into the device. It’s easy to miss this tiny row of holes, but otherwise, you might find it rather difficult to get the right draw.

The Tank

The Eleaf iCare tank holds 1.8ml of liquid, and the Eleaf iCare Mini holds 1.3ml of liquid. You can access the tank by using the rectangular hole in the white plastic cap as a tool to unscrew the tank. When you need to clean the tank, just use a cotton swab to sanitize it and then let it dry.

Eleaf iCare/Eleaf iCare Mini Display & Menu

There is no menu or display on this device. There isn’t even a fire button because the battery is automatic. That means that once you fill up the Eleaf iCare/Eleaf iCare Mini, all you have to do is puff.

Eleaf iCare/Eleaf iCare Mini Kit’s Price

The Eleaf iCare sells for about $15, and the Eleaf iCare Mini sells for about $25. Ironically, the mini version is more expensive than its larger counterpart because the mini comes with the PCC travel case. Because it will allow you to vape all day long while on the go, the mini is going to cost a few more dollars. That being said, both are very inexpensive. The Eleaf iCare would be a great device to give as a gift to a smoker who wants to quit. For $15, you can even throw in a bottle of e-juice.

Overall

The Eleaf iCare and the Eleaf iCare Mini are adorable little devices that couldn’t be simpler. We here at E-Cig Brands all agree. If these had been around when we stopped smoking, none of us would have even looked back. If vaping with its ohms, watts, amperes, and volts looks complicated, then the Eleaf iCare (Mini) is your kind of device. While it is a bit difficult to adjust the airflow and the device can heat up very quickly, all in all, it’s a stellar device and a sure winner in our books. Don’t take our word for it though, go pick up your Eleaf iCare Starter Kit or Eleaf iCare Mini Starter Kit today from South Beach Smoke!
